For golfers preferring the performance of a steel face with an insert feel, the Ping Karsten B60 Putter meets the criteria. An elastomer insert in the cavity provides enhanced feel while maintaining the solid response of a steel-faced putter. Weight savings from the new cavity shapes were redistributed to the perimeter to increase each putter's MOI (moment of inertia) for added forgiveness. Multi-level alignment aids are designed into most models.

With this line, Ping has taken an elastomer insert and placed it behind the face rather than on it. This allows for a bit of a cushioned feel, but it completely avoids a major problem that can arise with insert putters: inconsistency. Think of the insert on this putter as a piece of lead tape in the cavity. It will change the sound and vibration of a putt, but it is still a steel face putter. Off center hits are still detectable, but they aren't as punishing as they once were. The entire Karsten line gives a nice and solid click when you hit the ball.
Golfers’ review:
I have recently gone back to using this "old friend". Forgotten what a really great putter it is. I have the copper version, which i think is the best, well weighted with a lovely "buttery" touch, plenty of feel through the club and so much better than the £200+ Callaway I have been using.
As described; great condition. Never mind the fancy new materials and designs, go for the classics; won multiple events (incl majors), still being used by pro's - B60 is THE putter.
Great club, Great price, good condition for year highly recommended.
I've used this putter for about 10 years. My son started to play about a year ago and now plays off 22. As his game improved he bought an Odyssey 2ball putter for £130. His putting got worse so I suggested the Ping B60. Now his game is back on track and his game is improving all the time. The B60 is a outstanding putter for any handicap.
